Gypsy Nights

Hi everyone!

Dixi have just launched their first full own brand collection entitled GYPSY NIGHTS, and I obviously wanted to let you know about it. The below images, shot by the super talented Kelly Rose Hammond and Anette Schive, feature the gorgeous Tara Nowy & Mimi Elashiry modelling this AW13 collection.

Which pieces are your favourite? I honestly love all of them, but if I had to narrow down my choice to just three of them, I would choose the Moon Child Ring in silver, the Mystic One Midi Ring in silver, and the Rainbow Mystic Crystal Bullet Necklace

The Gypsy Nights collection can be purchased from here.

Score FREE shipping on any UK orders of £20 or over by simply using the code BLOGGERDISC at checkout. The code is valid till the 6th of October 2013.

Designer Wishlist

Hi everyone!

I don't know about you, but I love designer pieces! Don't get me wrong, I'm not a spoilt girl who gets whatever she wants no matter the price tag, but I do love to treat myself to a designer piece once in a blue moon. So when I came across the E&A Moda website, I was more than happy.

E&A Moda is a luxurious Italian designer outlet based in London's Whiteleys shopping centre and offers unbeatable prices on some of the most luxury women and mens brands including Balenciaga, Gucci, Armani and Prada. With an extensive list of clothing including jackets, jeans and knitwear and accessories including handbags, belts and hats, the E&A moda store is a must visit for all lovers of fashion and those who love a bargain!

I obviously had to make yet another wishlist to show you the pieces that I am mostly lusting over from this outlet! Oh, and if anyone wants to treat me to one of the items below, my birthday is in November! I'm joking, obviously.. or not?! :)

1) Balenciaga pink coat (£719/€855)
You all know by now that I'm not a fan of pink clothing, but after seeing pink outerwear pieces all over the AW 2013 runways and also on numerous fashionistas, I fell for this pink number by Balenciaga. As for styling this statement coat, I would opt to wear it with black trousers, a white shirt, and a simple pair of black boots.

2) Stella McCartney Iridescent pumps (£269/€319)
Apart from loving iridescent everything, I think these pumps would look amazing teamed with an all black outfit for the winter season! So yes, I had to add them to this wishlist too.

3) Stella McCartney Falabella Oleographic Python clutch in navy (£379/€450)
Can we just stop for a second and focus on how sumptuous this clutch is? Endless amounts of outfits come to my mind when I think of what to pair this clutch with! All I need now is an extra €450 in my bank account to get styling!

4) Yves Saint Laurent Boots (£649/€774)
Everybody needs a pair of black boots for the winter season, and I think I finally found my perfect pair. Adorned with a golden metal logo detailing on the side, this boots is a must-have piece.

5) Stella McCartney Iridescent Iphone case (£30/€35)
Our outfits wouldn't be complete without having stylish mobile cases, right? So this iridescent case by Stella McCartney would be the perfect accessory to finish off our looks. And considering that it is a designer piece, it really doesn't cost that much!

What do you think of my Designer Wishlist? Which fashion pieces would you purchase from E&A Moda?

How great is that? And while taking a quick look at their website, I have already chosen some items which will definitely be added to my cart!

And I have even more good news for you! MRP have just launched a competition where someone will eventually win a years supply of clothing! That would definitely be a dream for all of us! All you have to do to enter is fill in your details here and let's all hope for the best! :)

With LFW coming to a close today, the amazing people at Off Dutee have designed a number of 'vogue inspired' slogan tees to keep the spirit of this prestigious fashion event alive even after it's ending.  Priced at £50.00 each, 'FROW', 'RSVP' and 'Cara Qui?' are the must-have tees from this collection, but I also fell in love with the 'Cold in the Wintour' and the 'Vogue Never Disappoints' tees.

OOTD • The Brightness of the Sun

Hi everyone!

You all know that I love my black dresses, and this one from OMGfashion is no exception. And you know what? It's only being sold for £5.00 and is of amazing quality. Bargain! Since I wore the high neck midi dress during the day with black pointed heels, I decided to tone it down a bit by teaming it with a denim shirt. I think it worked quite well.

Dress*: OMGfashion // Denim shirt: Pull & Bear // Heels: Local shop

How would you style the dress?

Pastel Bokeh is 1 YEAR OLD!!!

It's been a year (and a few more days) since I started blogging - mainly to procrastinate from my thesis. A year on, blogging has become something I love doing, and has given me numerous opportunities and also helped me meet some amazing people! I just want to thank each and every one of you who take the time to read and follow my blog, and leave comments! It really makes my day!

So here's to more years of blogging!
I can't wait to see what's in store for the second year, and the years to follow! :)

Talk to the Hand • Jeffrey Campbell Lookbook

Hi everyone!

I am a HUGE fan of Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Even though I only own one pair of shoes from this astounding brand, I always find myself lusting over other rad styles and counting down the days until I can afford to purchase another pair.

For the coming Fall season, Jeffrey Campbell has released a new collection entitled 'Talk To The Hand', and without a doubt, I am now obsessed. Taking inspiration from the 90s, the mostly monochrome/neutral-coloured collection consists of boots, chunky sky-high booties and creeper style boots that instantly transform your look from boring to edgy. And for the super rad girl, Jeffrey Campbell has also designed a see-through platform wedge filled with barbie doll heads - Icy! This collection also includes a number of accessories, such as a yellow alien-shaped bag, a backpack adorned with alien faces and a small handbag emulating a Rubik's cube.

Shot by Kris Kidd and Ashlyn Whittington, this lookbook features models Honor Hamilton and Villyn Omorose posing on ladders, trucks, cars and tires in some incredible clothes from brands such as 10th Tribe and Wonderland Honolulu, and of course wearing Jeffrey Campbell shoes.

Check out some photos from the lookbook below:

Which style is your favourite? I fell head over heels in love with the 'Nirvana' and the 'Mulder'.
I definitely know what I will be asking for a birthday present from my boyfriend this year! :)

Moving Forward • A/W 13 Trends

The time has come to start thinking about our new season wardrobes, hopefully we’ll squeeze a little bit more sunshine out of the summer, but we’re into September now and there’s no avoiding the fact that winter is on its way.

It’s not all bad, the weather might be threatening to turn on us but the good thing about this time of year is putting together your imaginary wish list wardrobe for the new season. Summer is brilliant and full of fun but it’s no winter in fashion terms; winter means business, it’s all statement winter coats and sumptuous materials and stunning sophisticated colour palates.

We’ve done a little research to make it easier on you to decide which trends are worth following this season and how to work each trend into your wardrobe.
So enjoy our run down of our top five autumn, winter trends. Which ones will you be wearing?

Checks
Squares, checks and tartans are the definitive print for this season; wear yours in a contemporary array of interesting colours from classic red and black check to colourful school uniform style kilts.

1. Vivienne Westwood Multicolour Tartan Skirt - £225 – This amazing tartan skirt from Vivienne Westwood is a perfect winter investment piece, wear it with a lightweight silk shirt and as it gets colder add a pair of tights and luxurious knit.
2. Boohoo Daisy Crop Tartan Jacket - £39 – For a contemporary twist on tartans why not try out a crop top, wear this cool Boohoo top with a high waisted checked skirt for a strong print clash look.
3. Topman Red Tartan Scarf - £14 – The easiest way to add a touch of tartan into any outfit is with a scarf, drape this classic red check round the collar of your favourite leather jacket for an instant new season style update.
4. Stella McCartney Tartan Intarsia Jumper - £825 – This amazing mohair jumper from Stella McCartney is one of the most coveted items of the season, wear your under an oversized coat and a pair of slim leg leather trousers to finish.

The Skirt
This season it’s all been about feminine silhouettes, with big billowing skirts and full lengths for a truly womanly approach to dressing.

1. Christopher Kane camouflage woven skirt - £520 – Longline skirts may be enjoying their time in the limelight but minis are still a firm favourite, especially beautifully embroidered prints such as this Christopher Kane one.
2. Coast Meslita Skirt - £125 – Work this year’s biggest trend with a long skirt and channel a vintage aesthetic into your wardrobe. Team with a statement blouse to finish.
3. Whistles Wrap Leather Pencil Skirt - £275 – The asymmetric shapes that have been so popular this summer will remain sought after into the winter months opt for a more seasonal material such as leather to help your wardrobe transition seamlessly.

Rose Bouquet
From deep berry hues to the palest candy shades, designers have been playing around with pink this season, try out something different this winter and try incorporating feminine pastels into your repertoire.

1. Studio Nicholson Zeta Pop Pink Wool Track Pants – £225 – Don’t be afraid of wearing pink, it doesn’t always have to be girly, these cool track pants will add the perfect pop of colour into an otherwise darker colour palate.
2. Topshop Diamond Grid High neck top - £24 – This high neck top is the perfect option to help transition from the office to a night out, team with a leather jacket and heels for the evening.
3. Sparkle & Fade Overcoat - £125 – A statement overcoat is always the biggest investment for autumn, winter so make sure you make the right decision when choosing which one you want. This coat from Sparkle & Fade is the perfect shade of pink to embrace the trend without looking too over the top.

Walk on the Wild Side
This season when it comes to animal print think along the lines of the more exotic pieces and a more sophisticated approach to the trend than we’ve seen in previous seasons.

1. Alexander Wang Embossed Crocodile Print skirt - £515 – This amazing Alexander Wang skirt is the perfect option for any occasion, although a little pricey you can pick up brilliant leather skirts on the high street at a fraction of the price.
2. H&M Ballet Pumps - £15 – Wear the trend from head to toe with these cool leopard print pumps, a good all-round shoe.
3. Topshop Cow Print Shirt - £38 – We’re loving the stranger prints that have come out of this season, this cool Topshop cow print shirt comes with matching trousers, wear them together for an ensemble that really packs a punch.

Material Girl
This season it pays to play around with different textures; from leather and suede to sumptuous furs; wear them together for a really directional winter look.

1. Mango Leather Slim-fit trousers - £100 – A pair of leather trousers will rarely go out of fashion so invest in a really decent pair, opt for a strait leg style rather than skinny for a more grown-up take on the style.
2. Proenza Schouler PS1 Pouch suede in Royal Blue - £855 – The PS1 bags are iconic, this royal blue suede new season bag is the perfect investment item for the new season, the bold colour is very on trend but won’t go out of style.
3. Kenzo oversized faux fur coat - £540 – Kenzo is one of our favourite designers of the season and this faux fur coat is one of the reasons why, with a brilliant fun approach to style it’s the perfect combination of fashion forward and tongue in cheek.
